I live with my wife and our two sons just north of Chicago. We're near to friends and family; we have easy-access to beaches, trails, parks, and playgrounds.
Before having kids I bounced from place to place coaching women's soccer for a number of collegiate and professional teams. It was a fantastic experience filled with friendships and fun.
I enjoyed the big cities (Miami, Chicago, Boston, NYC), but life is good here in the burbs, and I'm not going anywhere.
I work for ServiceNow, an enterprise software company specializing in workflow optimization.
My team is creating a suite of modern UIs for both internal users and SN's clients, allowing them to quickly create and configure experiences in the NOW platform.
In my early coding years I conceptualized, coded, and supported one of the first-to-market SaaS programs for collegiate athletics: TEAMDesktop. In my spare time I mess around with frameworks and interesting APIs.
I'm not a tri-athlete, but I do enjoy all three of the disciplines. Mostly though, I like to ride.
My trusty road bike, Babs, has served me well for more than a decade. The Grey Lady—my gravel bike—is for fun and adventure. And when the moment calls for a casual spin with the boys, or a quick trip to the grocery store, I climb on Something Blue, my bullhorned fixie.
Come join me for a spin sometime!
